On 2nd October we will mark the end of two years of the Make Art Not War programme with a series of virtual events.
Make Art Not War has asked thousands of young people to respond creatively to the provocation:
'What does peace mean to you?'
To provide an opportunity to reflect and evaluate we are producing the following which we would love you to join us on:
- Throughout the day: Blatella Films are producing a celebration of some of the work of young people.
- 11am via Zoom: Bob & Roberta Smith will be giving a keynote to give a personal reflection on what the programme has achieved and where to go from here.
- 11:30am via Zoom: a panel of artists, educators and stakeholders will debate the programme live from the Imperial War Museum, London with the opportunity for you to join in the discussion.
1pm via Zoom: Alfred Cardona, the evaluator on Year 2 of the programme, will lead a virtual session exploring the programme which we'd love you to engage with. The session will focus on a response to Bob's latest provocation:
How Do We Want the World to Change after This?
- 2pm via Zoom: a final open session for people to share memories, lessons learned and thoughts as to the value and impact of such programmes and where we all go from here.
Please use any of the above links to register for the Zoom sessions. Hope to see you there!
