Why did you decide to do an apprenticeship?
I chose to do an apprenticeship to get gain more skills and experience in the workplace doing something that I love. I believed that an apprenticeship could open more doors personally for my preferred field of work so it was the perfect opportunity for me.

Tell me a bit about your day to day work.
My day varies a lot! One day I could be arranging and taking place in a POD recruitment day, I also take part in the induction of new starters. The main part of my job is to make connections between our POD members and our clients and arranging the POD bookings.
What do you most enjoy about the work you do?
The part of my job I enjoy the most is definitely helping people get their foot into the door of the creative digital industry. Seeing people in their dream jobs and knowing I was a part of it is brilliant.
How did it feel to win the Apprentice of the Year award?

What are your plans for the future?
To continue to progress my career within the creative digital sector, meeting and working with new people and gaining lots more knowledge and skills… as well as winning the lottery!
I truly believe I wouldn’t be where I am now without my apprenticeship
What advice would you give to others considering an apprenticeship?
I truly believe I wouldn’t be where I am now without my apprenticeship so I would say go for it! It isn’t just work related skills that I have improved, my confidence has grown massively as you get that hands-on experience.
