Resources for arts organisations during the Covid-19 crisis

As you’ll be aware, the Covid-19 crisis has affected the arts sector significantly. At CCSkills, we are continuing our work to support the sector at this time and as part of this have compiled some resources that you may find useful.

Advice for employers (financial)

Arts Council England has published guidance for employers, including the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme as well as direct support and specific cultural organisation tax relief (theatre, orchestra, museum and galleries exhibition).

Arts Council England has announced a £160m emergency fund which will be made available for those organisations and individuals who will need it during this crisis. The Emergency Response Fund is open from Tuesday 12 May and you will have one week to apply before the deadline at 12pm (midday) on Tuesday 19 May.

This fund will open for applications on 12 May 2020, with a deadline of 19 May 2020.

The Creative Industries Federation has put together a breakdown of the support that is available, plus a compilation of business support measures.

The Heritage Fund have outlined their support for heritage organisations during this crisis.

Advice for employers (operational)
