Case Study: Jamie Duncan-Matthew

Jamie had been trying to get into the music industry by sending off CVs to record companies. He got no response. He found out about the apprenticeship through the college - Collage Arts, in Wood Green and got a placement at Universal Music, working in A&R for Mercury Records.

The whole environment, the whole atmosphere was very exciting and beneficial to me. I really enjoyed working there. I saw the whole process, how it all works at a major record label. I learnt how a project comes together from the beginning to the end. It was a really good experience - definitely a stepping stone for a job in the industry.
