What Creative & Cultural Skills represents

We represent creative writers (including writers, novelists, poets, playwrights, literary critics and translators), those who nurture and develop creative writers (such as literary agents), and the literature development sector.

The Literature Blueprint – a workforce development plan for literature in the UK

Creative & Cultural Skills is developing a UK-wide plan for creative writers, to be launched in summer 2010. The Literature Blueprint will analyse the skills needs of the literature sector and propose key actions in response.

It has been developed in consultation with individuals, employers and representative bodies from the literature sector. Many thanks indeed to all those organisations and individuals who have commented on the draft Blueprint.

If you have any questions on the Literature Blueprint, please contact engagement@ccskills.org.uk.
