The Cultural Heritage Blueprint – a workforce development plan for cultural heritage in the UK
The Cultural Heritage Blueprint, a workforce development plan for cultural heritage in the UK, was launched in December 2008. It lays out a series of recommendations and proposed actions to tackle the skills needs of the cultural heritage sector.
The key areas addressed by the Cultural Heritage Blueprint are:
- Entry into the workforce
- Workforce diversity
- Learning and development for staff and volunteers
- Leadership and management
- Business, enterprise and entrepreneurial skills
- Sector-specific skills
