Understanding our industries

We campaign on behalf of our sectors to bring about solutions to address the challenges they face.

By directly consulting creative and cultural industries across the board, we examine where the skills gaps are and what can be done to fill them. We then develop workforce action plans which set out the sector's own approach to delivering change.

We are currently publishing UK workforce development plans for each of the sectors; Design, Cultural Heritage, Craft and Visual Arts are now complete. Take a look at the links on the right to download these documents and see how your organisation can take part.

The Performing Arts Blueprint is due soon, while a draft of the Literature Blueprint resulting from the consultation with employers will be available for comments on the Literature page shortly.

We will be commencing a consultation in Music in 2010.
