Design Commission calls for new focus on education & skills

Creative & Cultural Skills welcomes the Design Commission’s first report, Restarting Britain: Design Education and Growth, an inquiry into design education at all levels, launched on 12th December.  Chaired by leading economist Vicky Pryce of FTI Consulting, the report posed four questions: Why does design matter? Where are we now with UK design education? What are our competitors doing? What must we do to compete?
