MLA invites applications for museum apprenticeships

Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) has pledged funding for up to 50 Apprenticeships in museums across England over the next two years as part of the Creative Apprenticeship developed by Creative & Cultural Skills.

CCSkills gets Hay fever

Skills for writers at Guardian Hay Festival

On Friday 29 May, Creative & Cultural Skills will play host to a range of authors and critics at the Guardian Hay Festival to start a dialogue about the future skills needs of the creative writing industry. Calling all who work with words, the sessions will focus on digitisation, the future of creative writing courses, and, crucially, how to make a living from writing.
